It is like being in the heart of  Mediterranean, with the idea of stay on a island, where every people of  Mediterranean left his traces: in dialect, food, history, churches. Here in the extreme point of Salento you can see Ionic islands and Albania coasts, and you can see the world with different eyes.

What to see:
The landscape is coloured by the green and the silver of olive trees which in autumn give us their rich fruits: in this region an exellent olive oil is produced. 100 historical centers hide many baroc treasures that surround the splendid Lecce. In the neighbourhood you can find many prehistoric testimonials in caves and stones heaps. To lose yourself in the countryside nearby is an unforgettable experience: you can reach the sea riding a bike or walking in these paths with little churches and tipical drywalls. The close towns of Galatina, Otranto, Tricase, Alessano and Gallipoli are easily achievable. We are in the further east part of Italy, so that in clearest day you can see Greek Islands and even the Albanian Coast.
